This Post if for Nokia C5-03 And C5-06 Memory Card problem solution. Although there are some differences between these phones but this solution works on both of them.
MMC or Memory card problem in these phones is often caused by busted memory card jacket. So first of all check the MMC base. I have marked it with Black square around it in the diagram below. If you are certain that MMC Jacket is not damaged then replace the MMC IC I have marked wit Red square. There is also a way to bypass it but I will recommend that you replace it with a new one.
